Pakistan Post is committed to harnessing potential of its employees through extensive training in different fields of professional activities. It takes a strategic, long term view of training and believes that appropriate investment in training and development pays rich dividends in term of improved employees' performance and job satisfaction. A wide range of training programs and appropriate courses designed on the basis of training needs analysis are delivered through Postal Staff College which is the premier training institute for postal executives.

Built in 1987 at Islamabad - the national capital- at a cost of Rs. 13 million, Postal Staff College has played a critical role in imparting and updating professional skills in management, finance, banking, marketing, life insurance, mail routing and delivery, labour management relations and customer care. Since its inception it has trained significant number of postal officials from 57 countries.

Pakistan Post is also running 5 regional Postal Recruitment & Training Centres which are located at Islamabad, Nowshehra, Lahore, Karachi and Quetta. It has recently embarked upon a program of revamping the entire curricula of regional training centres and rewriting traditional courses on postal services with enhanced focused on customer satisfaction and better process management.
